TrekFriendly Guide Charter
Updated on October 6, 2026 · TrekFriendly
Each guide makes these commitments to their group. They complement the partner guide terms. Travellers can read them without accepting the guide's professional obligations.
1
1Welcome and group cohesion
Before departure, I contact participants through the outing's discussion thread to explain conditions, answer concerns and help arrange car sharing. I include everyone, especially those coming alone. The human experience matters as much as the scenery.
2
2Active safety and care
I adapt the pace to the group's actual ability and leave nobody alone at the back. At departure I check the essential equipment announced: suitable footwear, water and rain protection. I prepare the route, an up-to-date first-aid kit, a means of raising the alarm and an alternative route suitable for the conditions.
3
3Respect for the trails
I encourage the group to leave no waste, respect wildlife's peace and protect pastureland. I use permitted access points and make sure gates and fences are closed after passing through.
4
4Loyalty and confidentiality
I use participants' contact details only for the booked outing and its associated obligations. I do not divert a booking initiated on TrekFriendly or use those details to solicit participants directly in order to bypass the platform and agreed commission. Necessary practical contacts and the exercise of legal rights remain permitted. Any sanction requires established facts and the procedure in the guide terms. Private conversations are not subject to general monitoring.
5
5Transparent logistics and repayment
I submit genuine supporting documents for advances, record their use and report supplier refunds actually received. I return unused or recovered funds when a documented obligation is established, following the notification and objection procedure. A missing document or supplier loss does not automatically become a debt. I share only the documents explicitly selected for the financial file; traveller refund rights remain independent of this recovery.
