Yes. Cancellation terms depend on the type of trip, the time remaining before departure and the reason for cancellation. They are shown before payment. Read the terms that apply to your booking and the summary before confirming a cancellation.

You receive a full refund and are notified by email.

Independent guides’ offers and trips organised by TrekFriendly have different terms. For trips organised by TrekFriendly and identified as package trips, TrekFriendly is the organiser. For other offers, check the trip page and applicable terms to find out who the organiser is and what role each party plays.

Choose a departure on the hike page, enter the number of places and pay securely online. You will receive a confirmation email straight away.

For bookings under €500, the full amount is paid when booking. For bookings of €500 or more, a 30% deposit is paid when booking and the remaining 70% is due 45 days before departure. The balance is charged automatically if the payment method supports it; otherwise, you can pay through a payment link. If you book after this due date, the balance is due immediately. The payment schedule and amount due are shown before payment.

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe. TrekFriendly never stores your banking details.

Once your booking is confirmed, the guide has your contact details to get in touch with you. You can then discuss the trip in its dedicated discussion space on the platform.
