For a weekend, you also declare that you are covered by civil liability insurance.

Your personal insurance
By booking, you confirm that you have personal insurance covering accidents during the activity.
Assistance and repatriation insurance is strongly recommended. Cancellation insurance is recommended: it may cover the amount retained under the scale if you have to cancel.
TrekFriendly does not check your policy. The guide’s liability insurance does not cover your own accident costs.
The guide’s insurance
Before any publication, TrekFriendly checks the guide’s diploma and their professional liability insurance. An offer is withdrawn from sale if that insurance expires.
The insurance that protects your money
TrekFriendly is insured against its insolvency. This insurance covers the refund of all payments collected by TrekFriendly: if TrekFriendly became insolvent, you could apply directly to the insurer to obtain a refund of the sums paid for your booking.
The insurer and the policy number are given in article 5.5 of the terms of sale, and the policy valid on the day of your payment is stated in your booking dossier. This insurance protects your money, not you personally.
Never pay the guide outside TrekFriendly: such a payment is neither protected by this insurance nor refundable by TrekFriendly.
Before publication, TrekFriendly checks that the agency has a licence, an insolvency guarantee and professional liability insurance, all in date. The listing states its licence number and the insolvency guarantor.
You pay the agency, and TrekFriendly holds no money for these trips: if the agency becomes insolvent, your payments are protected by its own insolvency guarantee.
For everything else, the agency’s terms of sale govern your trip: read them before paying.
