Partner Booking Terms
Updated on October 25, 2026 · TrekFriendly
These terms apply to TrekFriendly’s “Partner agency” offers. You accept them by ticking the box “I accept the terms for partner bookings” before sending your request.
1. Who does what?
A “Partner agency” offer is organised and sold by the professional travel agency named on the listing. The travel contract is concluded with that agency, and not with TrekFriendly. The agency gives you its own terms of sale and the standard information form required by law.
TrekFriendly SRL (enterprise number 1043.353.180, Clos Chanmurly 2B, 4000 Liège, Belgique), hereinafter “TrekFriendly”, presents the offer, passes your request on to the agency and receives a commission from it. TrekFriendly does not organise the trip, does not sell it, acts neither as a retailer nor as a collection agent and is not a party to the contract between you and the agency. Before publication, TrekFriendly checks that the agency has a licence, an insolvency guarantee and professional liability insurance, all in date; the listing states its licence number and the insolvency guarantor.
2. A request, not yet a booking
The “Request a booking” button sends your request to the agency. This request is not yet a booking: the agency may confirm or decline it. You follow its status in your account. You can have only one active request per departure, and you can withdraw a pending or confirmed request.
3. Response time
The agency has 72 hours to reply after your request is sent. If it confirms the request, you receive the total amount to pay, the payment method and the payment deadline. If it declines it, you receive its reason. If there is no reply within that time, the request expires, you are notified and the agency no longer sees your contact details.
4. You pay the agency, never TrekFriendly
Payment is made to the agency. TrekFriendly receives no payment for these trips and will never ask you to pay. Follow only the payment instructions in the agency’s confirmation, and check the agency’s name and the address of the payment website before paying.
The price displayed is the agency’s public price: you pay the same price as if you booked directly with it, with nothing added by TrekFriendly. TrekFriendly’s commission is paid by the agency and included in this price. The “I have paid the agency” button lets you report your payment, but only the agency records that it has received it.
5. The agency’s terms apply
The agency’s terms of sale, accessible through the link on the listing and in the confirmation, govern your trip: pre-contractual information, modification, cancellation, refund and complaints. Read them before paying. The cancellation scales and protections specific to TrekFriendly’s guided trips do not apply to agency offers.
If the agency cancels a departure, your pending or confirmed requests for that departure are cancelled and you are notified by email. If you had already paid, the refund is a matter for the agency, under its terms and the law. If the agency becomes insolvent, your payments are protected by its own insolvency guarantee, whose guarantor is named on the listing. TrekFriendly holds no sum to refund to you.
6. Your contact details are passed on to the agency
By sending your request, you authorise TrekFriendly to pass on to the named agency your name, email, telephone number, the number of participants and your message. It needs them to reply and to organise your trip, and becomes the controller of this data for its relationship with you. After a refusal, an expiry, a withdrawal or a cancellation, it sees only your first name and the number of participants.
To find out more, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Conditions for sending a request
You must be an adult, have an account in your own name and give your telephone number. You also confirm that all the participants you register are adults.
8. Liability
The agency is responsible for the organisation and performance of your trip. TrekFriendly is liable for its own platform obligations, in particular for the accuracy of what it passes on. These terms do not deprive you of any right that the law gives you.
9. Governing law, complaints and contact
These terms are governed by Belgian law. For a complaint about your trip, contact the agency first. If you cannot reach it, TrekFriendly passes your complaint on to it. The mediation routes are those stated in the agency’s terms. For any question about the platform, write to info@trekfriendly.com.
